Factory 20% Gingerol Powder
What is Gingerol?
Gingerol is a general term for gingerol, gingerone, shogaol and other spicy substances related to ginger. Gingerol is the main component of ginger extract, extracted from the fresh rhizome of ginger, yellow oily powder, spicy taste; completely dissolved in water, the flavor can be fully released.
What Are The Benefits?
Antioxidant
Gingerol can significantly remove hydroxyl radicals and superoxide radicals in organisms and reduce lipid peroxides in liver and brain tissues. From the perspective of molecular structure, gingerols in ginger have phenolic, hydroxyl or olefinic chain structures and are excellent hydrogen or electron donors. Due to the resonance delocalization of the formed phenolic free radical intermediates and the lack of positions suitable for oxygen attack, new free radicals will not be generated, nor will they be rapidly oxidized due to chain reactions, so they have strong antioxidant activity.
Liver protection
In human and mouse liver samples, gingerol was found to inhibit the accumulation of hepatocyte lipids induced by free fatty acids (FFA), thereby achieving the effect of protecting the liver. Gingerol improves hepatic steatosis by increasing the transcriptional activity of hepatocyte nuclear factor HNF4α, leading to an increase in miR-467b-3p and a decrease in glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase. Because the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) can be regulated by microRNA, the above mechanism illustrates the key role of the HNF4α/miR-467b-3p/GPAT1 cascade induced by gingerol in improving NAFLD.
Applications
Food
Gingerol is a key ingredient in many condiments, such as ginger powder, ginger oil and ginger wine. Its spicy taste can add a unique flavor to food.
Health products
Gingerol has multiple biological activities such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, so it is widely used in the production of health foods. For example, it can be used to make weight loss foods because gingerol can increase the body's metabolic rate.
Cosmetics
Gingerol is often used in the cosmetics field with other ingredients in ginger. In shampoo, adding ginger juice rich in gingerol can effectively remove dirt from the scalp and inhibit the growth of scalp bacteria, and has a good effect of stabilizing hair roots and preventing hair loss.
In skin care products, gingerol not only plays an anti-oxidation role in the skin, but also can effectively remove oil from the facial skin and inhibit bacterial growth, reducing the appearance of oil beans. Masks containing gingerol can play an anti-inflammatory and acne-removing role and calm the skin.
